K1, introduced in 2003, is the first in our new line of kayaks designed to the new ICF specification and gives elite paddlers another option in sprint racing kayaks. The new Mohawk has a stern-hung swallowtail shaped rudder and, a narrower, more rounded deck. The narrow deck allows the paddle to be placed even closer to the center line of the boat than either the Eagle or Eagle II. The stern hung rudder effectively creates a longer boat, without lengthening the hull.
