Leighton Buzzard Canoe Club Operates an Open House Here at Leighton Buzzard, we always welcome paddlers and coaches from other clubs to come along and join us for training sessions, courses, meetings etc.. We run a regular Time Trial each week over 3k, 6k or 9k courses, which is very popular within our club and to existing associated paddlers. We often have World Class Start Training Days taking place, generally open to World Class Start Paddlers and those on the fringe (speak with the regional WCS coordinator for inclusion) General Training Sessions take place most days of the week, at which coaching can often be accessed. Moving forward, we hope to offer: Star Tests, Canoe Safety Tests, Placid Water Level 1 and Level 2 Courses and much more on a regular basis, or by arrangement. We ask that visitors from other clubs abide by all the Policies and Procedures of Leighton Buzzard Canoe Club, that all Juniors bring a Parent/Guardian/Coach with them to take responsibility, that they are competent to look after their own safety on the water, and that they do not detract/upset the training of other paddlers accessing our coaching/club. For
visitors from other clubs, accessing our facilities and equipment,
there may be a charge. |
