their club at the Sobeka regatta in Belgium. Our medal haul was some 11 medals. In addition we had 3 members paddling for the British Canoe Union at this event. |

The final points totals were: 457 Leighton Buzzard 448 Elmbridge 428 Wey 417 Reading 409 Fladbury ... 388 Chelmsford ... 357 Norwich Points are earned for every promotion we have gained in the year, every paddler competing at this regatta and our best results in singles, doubles and fours at the regatta. This is certainly a result to be proud of. It is the first time the club has won this competition in its history and it is quite an achievement to have beaten Elmbridge Canoe Club into second place! Not only have we won this competition, but we have also qualified our club to compete in the European Club Championships in 2005. The competition will be held in Nottingham alongside the 2005 MacGregor Paddle competition. Congratulations to everyone who competed and all the coaches that have worked so hard to produce the results. Also a huge thank you to all the parents for supporting your offspring through the year. |
