The arrow on the map below indicates approximately where you will find us on the campsite.

You can get directions from many club members, but this is the way I go

Take the M1 North

Stop for refreshment at Leicester Forest East Services (if necessary)

Turn off the M1 at Junction 24
Take the A453, past Radcliffe Power Station
Follow the road right through Clifton (watch the speed limit and those Cameras)
Eventually the road turns into a dual carriageway, soon after this,
When approaching a big flyover junction,
Take the left hand slip, the B679 (Clifton Lane) signposted West Bridgeford
Follow this road which becomes Wilford Lane.
At the end of Wilford Lane bear left onto the dual carriageway A60 (Loughborough Road)
Get in the right hand lane and turn right after the Cricket Ground A6520 (Radcliffe Road)
At the next major junction go straight across (with a bit of a wiggle)
onto Trent Boulevard (which looks like quite a small residential road)
(there is a signpost to the NWSC at this junction, I think!)
This road eventually turns into Adbolton Lane follow this to the end
Turn left onto another part of Adbolton Lane
The campsite will be on your right after a few hundred metres
The National Watersports Centre will be on your left a bit further on.

There are several alternative routes, if the traffic is particularly bad going North on the M1 you can turn off the M1 at Leicester and take the A46, continue past the NWSC and come in from the North East (the other side),
(it is well signposted from this direction).

If you are looking for Bed & Breakfast accommodation in the area you could try Diane Hickling at Woodside Farm email hickling-woodside@supanet.com (please let them know where you got the information and please let us know what you think afterwards Thanks Julian )
